Our history, our roots
Cantina Mertzeoro was born from a love for our land and a family history spanning generations. In 2019, we chose to bottle our own wines, giving a new voice to a lifetime of work. Today, we continue this journey together, with respect for the land, spontaneous fermentations, and the desire to share the identity of our territory in every bottle.
Our land, our identity
In Mamoiada, in the heart of Barbagia, vines grow in a territory with a strong identity, where nature and human labor meet. We cultivate five hectares of vineyards: three dedicated to Cannonau and two to Granatza. We work in harmony with the land and allow spontaneous fermentations to guide the wine, expressing the character of our grapes and the place from which they originate. Every vineyard, every harvest, and every bottle tells of a deep bond with our land.
